73rd Annual Sun Prairie Sweet Corn Festival

Named one of the best food festivals in the Midwest, the Sun Prairie Sweet Corn Festival is August 19 – 23, 2026. The featured food is 80 tons of Wisconsin grown sweet corn served with savory butter and sprinkled with salt to your liking. With FIVE days, we’re sure to offer something special just for you!

Event Highlights:

• Parade & Block Party: Kick off the festivities on Wednesday, August 19, at 6:00 PM with a lively parade through downtown Sun Prairie, followed by a block party featuring live music.

• Live Music: Enjoy performances from regional bands throughout the festival.

• Sweet Corn: Savor 80 tons of Wisconsin-grown sweet corn, served hot with butter and salt on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 6:00 PM, while supplies last

• Carnival: Experience thrilling rides and games daily, with special wristband nights on Thursday and Friday for unlimited rides.

• Family Activities: Visit the Kids Corner for crafts, face painting, games, and more family-friendly fun.

• Vendors & Beer Shelter: Explore a variety of food vendors and enjoy beverages in the beer shelter, open daily.
