Art Meets Music in the Heart of Sun Prairie 🎶🎨

Experience a one-of-a-kind celebration of art and music in downtown Sun Prairie on Thursday, June 26, 2025!

Watch local artists bring color to the city as they paint live murals on the Washington Mills building (viewable from 251 E Lane St) as part of Sun Prairie Mural Fest. At the same time, Make Music Sun Prairie fills the streets with performances by musicians of all ages and styles—part of the worldwide Make Music Day celebration!

Enjoy live mural painting, spontaneous music, community art, and more during the Streets of Sun Prairie event. Come celebrate creativity in all forms—watch, listen, and join in!

From June 18–25, watch local artists transform the Washington Mills building into vibrant murals inspired by our city’s artistic spirit (viewing access from 251 E Lane St). Then, join the big reveal during the Streets of Sun Prairie event on June 26—featuring art, music, live performances, and interactive fun!

Make Music Sun Prairie is joining the global music celebration, Make Music Day. More than 1,000 cities worldwide will gather to celebrate the joys of music through performances, activities, and parades. Sun Prairie is proud to join the summer solstice fun for our 4th year in 2025!

Completely different from a typical music festival, Make Music is open to anyone wanting to participate. Every kind of musician—young and old, amateur and professional, of every musical persuasion—pours onto streets, parks, plazas, and porches to share their music with friends, neighbors, and strangers. All of it is free and open to the public.
