Sun Prairie Public Library
The Sun Prairie Public Library was founded in 1901. It has evolved from humble beginnings from a collection of 208 books in the old City Hall to a collection of nearly 150,000 physical items and counting.
The library serves the community as an accessible central hub supporting lifelong learning and literacy through educational, cultural, and enjoyable discovery opportunities for all.
The library is also home to the Read Before Bookstore, the only bookstore in Sun Prairie! The Read Before Book Store is managed by the Friends of the Sun Prairie Public Library and all proceeds go to the library.
