Sun Prairie Civic Theatre Presents The Addams Family Musical: Adaptive Edition

The Penguin Project of Sun Prairie Civic Theatre (SPCT) proudly presents the first-ever production of The Addams Family: Adaptive Edition, running June 20 and 21 at 7 p.m., and June 22 at 2 p.m. at the Sun Prairie West High School Performing Arts Center, 2850 Ironwood Drive in Sun Prairie.

Get ready for a 90-minute adaptive performance of The Addams Family! Sun Prairie Civic Theatre has received special permission to present this unique version of the Broadway musical, thoughtfully reimagined to reflect the diverse abilities of its cast.

Join Gomez, Morticia, Wednesday, and the whole kooky Addams clan for a hilarious and heartwarming story filled with catchy songs and family fun. This production embodies Sun Prairie Civic Theatre’s commitment to inclusive performing arts and celebrates the talent, teamwork, and transformative experiences that happen when a community creates live theatre.

This special performance is part of The Penguin Project, a national program that empowers young artists with developmental or other disabilities to shine on stage, supported by their peer mentors. Expect a joyful, high-energy show celebrating creativity, friendship, and community!
